I had the honor of photographing Jonathan Gold, the renowned food critic and journalist, for his role as the host of Flavors of L.A., a culinary event that showcased the finest restaurants in Los Angeles. Initially conceived as promotional material for The Taste's annual food and wine festival, this portrait eventually became an iconic representation of Jonathan when he released his documentary, City of Gold.

Following his untimely passing in 2018, the city's restaurants and businesses came together to pay tribute to his illustrious career. They organized a creative exhibition of his portrait throughout the city one evening, commemorating his enduring legacy.
